About The Event
Autumn is on its way and school will be starting shortly. Dupont Circle’s famous pop-up shopping events will shine again on Saturday, August 27th from 12:00-5:00pm. More than 50 vendors will be on the sidewalks, outside on P Street and Connecticut Avenue with their unique wares.
More than 2000 shoppers came from throughout the region in June to take advantage of this unique shopping opportunity. While in Dupont Circle, shoppers visited the many pop-up vendors, local retailers, art galleries, and dinned in one of the many restaurants with outdoor café seating.
The pop-up shopping event will have more than 50 vendors from around the region for pedestrians to discover paintings, jewelry, pottery, candles, soaps, and other maker goods. Pop-ups will be in front of retail stores so you can walk around and then take a break in Dupont Circle park or at a streatery to recharge.
Volunteers will be at the Dupont Circle Metro – North exit on Q Street – passing out maps and giving directions to pop-up shops and retailers. The pop-up is organized by Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets and sponsored by the Department of Local & Small Business Development. The event is free and open to the public. Rain or shine.
